The origin of Reflexology is unknown, though it can be found in ancient Chinese practice as well as Egyptian hieroglyphs, making it one of the oldest forms of massage. In Reflexology, specific areas of the hands or feet relate to specific parts of the body, so that extended, intentional work on the hands or feet feels as though the entire body received a massage.

A stand-alone Reflexology session is 30 minutes, but it can also be added on to a 60 minute massage. Because it does not require disrobing or any special materials, Reflexology is an excellent choice for the workplace, where only access to the hands is needed. It can also serve as a substitute to full-body massage for those who are uncomfortable with the idea.

A small amount of lotion may be used.
